The VAST Challenge is a long-running contest to encourage advances in visual analytics and adjacent fields. Each year, a fictional background story and related synthetic data are presented to participants who are challenged with story-relevant analytical tasks.
With technical sponsorship from IEEE, this event anticipates that its proceedings will be indexed in leading databases such as Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), Ei Compendex, DBLP, and Google Scholar.
