The 2027 IEEE International Conference on Energy Technologies for Future Grids will be held under the theme “Accelerating the Energy Transition: From Innovation to Integration and Industrial Transformation.” The conference will address the modernization of power and energy systems driven by decarbonization, digitalization, and sustainability goals. It will focus on innovations in microgrids, smart grids, distributed generation, renewable integration, electric vehicles, hydrogen energy, and advanced power electronic converters, while emphasizing their large-scale integration into reliable and resilient grids. The event will also explore industrial transformation, including electrified transport, mining energy systems, emissions reduction strategies, market reforms, and increased private sector participation.
