IEEE South Asia Power Electronics Conference (SAPEC)

The conference focuses on advancements in power electronics with an emphasis on applied research, industrial solutions, and real-world implementations. It addresses key areas including renewable energy systems, electric vehicle traction and charging infrastructure, transportation electrification (railways and metros), data centre and telecom power systems, wide bandgap device technologies, power electronics design, manufacturing, packaging, and reliability, as well as grid compliance, standards, and regulations. Additional focus is placed on AI-enabled diagnostics, predictive maintenance, digital twins, and scalable, cost-effective solutions for emerging markets. Dedicated industry sessions will highlight real-world deployment challenges, field failure analysis, reliability concerns, and certification and regulatory requirements, including industrial power converters and motor drives.
