Welcome to GeoPython 2023, the annual conference focused on the Python programming and Geo. This year, we are proud to host the event in beautiful Basel, Switzerland with in-person speakers only.

As the 8th edition of the conference series, which began in 2016, GeoPython 2023 will cover a wide range of topics, including GIS/Mapping, Geovisualization, Smart Cities, Spatial Data/Geodata, Geospatial Webservices, Big Data, Data Processing, (Spatial) Databases, Computer Vision, Remote Sensing, Image Processing, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Mobile Mapping, and Indoor Mapping and Modelling.

We invite professionals and researchers from a variety of fields, including geography, geophysics, geodesy, geomatics, earth sciences, environmental sciences, and more to join us and share their knowledge and insights.
