Founded in 2005, IDEA (English Language and Literature Research Association of Turkey) is the Turkish national association for English studies. As the only professional association in Turkey affiliated with ESSE (The European Society for the Study of English), IDEA aims at bringing together academics working in the fields of linguistics, literature, language teaching and cultural studies.
