HortEx, the International Exhibition & Conference for Horticultural and Floricultural Production and Processing Technology, was first launched in Vietnam in 2018.

Over the years, HortEx in Vietnam has attracted numerous international exhibitors and thousands of trade visitors from Vietnam and abroad and positioned itself as the leading trade show for horticulture and floriculture in Vietnam and neighbouring countries.

Since 2025, the organizers of HortEx collaborate with DLG (German Agricultural Society), organizer of AGRITECHNICA, the world’s leading agricultural machinery exhibition held biennially in Hanover (Germany), to co-locate HortEx together with AGRITECHNICA ASIA in an annual cycle, alternating between Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Bangkok (Thailand), commencing in 2025 and starting in Ho Chi Minh City followed by Bangkok in 2026.

AGRITECHNICA ASIA is a spin-off of AGRITECHNICA in Germany. AGRITECHNICA ASIA aims to bring together the finest minds and leading stakeholders from across the agriculture sector, providing a space to discuss, innovate and co-create solutions that are not just relevant to Asia, but the world at large.

The inaugural edition of these co-located events was held from 12-14 March 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City and proved to be an immediate success, attracting over 300 companies and 10,693 trade visitors from both Vietnam and around the world.
