ISTAS26: Sustainable Technologies for Global Development – is a multidisciplinary forum that brings together engineers, social scientists, policymakers, industry leaders, non-profit practitioners, and community stakeholders to examine the social, ethical, and policy implications of technologies designed to support sustainable development. The conference will emphasize rigorous, peer-reviewed contributions on themes including sustainable and humanitarian technologies, AI and societal impact, ethics and human values, universal access and assistive technologies, technology policy and governance, and a Kerala-focused track on coastal climate adaptation and resilience. ISTAS26 seeks to foster evidence-based dialogue, cross-sector collaboration, and practical pathways for deploying technologies that advance inclusive, resilient, and equitable development.

With technical sponsorship from IEEE, this event anticipates that its proceedings will be indexed in leading databases such as Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), Ei Compendex, DBLP, and Google Scholar.
