The Costa Rican Symposium on Computer Science and Informatics (JoCICI) has been held since 2013 as an initiative of Costa Rica’s five public universities. Its objective is to disseminate research conducted in these fields among the country’s scientific, academic, and student communities.

IEEE VII Jornadas Costarricenses de Investigación en Computación e Informática (JoCICI) is technically sponsored by IEEE. The proceedings  of this event are likely to be indexed in  prominent databases such as Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), Ei Compendex, DBLP, Google Scholar, and many others.
