Uniquely focuses on compact semiconductor device model applications, model Q&A, parameter extraction methodologies, model development methods, and model standardization, as well as model development itself. Purpose is it (1) Educate the design, process technology, and modeling communities for best practices for semiconductor device model use and model development, as well as make it easier for designers and process technologists to communicate their needs to the model developers based on the familiarity of the models; (2) Provide a venue for attendees to interact and discuss which could sow the seeds for new collaborative efforts between the design and process technology communities and the research institutions doing the model development; and (3) Provide increased visibility of the Compact Model Coalition (CMC) to the semiconductor industry to increase membership to provide more funding to the model developers for further enhancement of the standards.

International Compact Modeling Conference (ICMC) is technically sponsored by IEEE. The conference proceedings are likely to be indexed in databases such as Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), Google Scholar, and others.
