Leisure Studies Association Annual Conference

Under the “Re-creating Leisure” theme, the 2023 LSA Conference will bring together an interdisciplinary field of researchers, educators, students, practitioners and policymakers to share visions, expertise and experiences to critically examine how leisure practices, spaces, and domains are theorised, researched, and experienced. Recent global events have dramatically highlighted the significance of making sense of leisure in times of planetary upheaval.

The call for papers is closing soon. Abstracts of 300 words must be submitted to LSA2023@bournemouth.ac.uk by Friday 27 January 2023. Contributions are invited from various topics that focus on leisure – these include:
