Provocation is an important aspect of the Reggio Emilia Approach to a child centered education. It comes in many forms. Provocations, by nature, tend to provoke thoughts, ideas, and actions. Yes, it may seem obvious but what is it? How does it look in the early years? The workshop will explore ways to provoke thoughts, ideas, and actions in young children and ways to help them expand their thought into a project, idea or an interest for further research.
