Ports can play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable, low-carbon future. Electrifying core operations like shore powering, cargo handling, and drayage is essential for establishing a cost-and-energy efficient port infrastructure. The complexity of electrification requires ports to adapt and integrate innovative strategies and technologies for a successful transition to net-zero operations. Achieving this transformation relies on collaborative efforts from federal and state governments, as well as the active participation of all stakeholders.

Global Transmission ReportĀ is excited to announce theĀ 2nd editionĀ of itsĀ Port ElectrificationĀ USĀ conference, to be held onĀ June 25-26, 2024Ā atĀ The Westin Long Beach, California.
